Overview

Comma is a lightweight desktop app for opening, editing, and exporting delimited files like CSV and TSV. It behaves like a spreadsheet, but keeps your data in plain text files.

What Comma Can Do

• Open CSV/TSV/text files (up to 100MB)
• Edit cells directly (single cells or ranges)
• Use spreadsheet-style formulas and references
• Filter and sort columns (including quick “value” filters)
• Search and replace across the dataset
• Export (optionally: selection-only, choose delimiter, include headers)
• Print or export to PDF
• Track view preferences (theme, wrapping, row height, badges, borders)
• Manage saved filter presets and conditional highlighting rules
• Keep formulas + metadata in a sidecar “companion” file
