Opening Files

You can open files in several ways:

  • Welcome screen: drag & drop a file, or click Open File
  • App menu: File → Open…
  • Tab bar: New tab → Open file
  • OS integration: open a .csv/.tsv file with Comma

Supported File Types

  • .csv, .tsv, .txt (and other delimited text files)

Recent Files

Section titled “Recent Files”

The welcome screen shows Recent Files (and lets you clear them). Clicking a missing file offers to remove it from the list.

File Size Limit

Section titled “File Size Limit”

Comma currently supports files up to 100MB. Larger files will show an error and won’t load.
